Experienced firefighters, homeland security, and defense officials with relevant technical expertise were all consulted during the initial design of the SkySaver. The result is an easy-to-use, reliable, and affordable self-evacuation device that can be used to escape from any multi-story building.
Process
Materials and preparation were key to the design of the SkySaver. Each SkySaver consists of
comfortable, yet durable materials that have to be depended upon to work at any given
moment. Over the course of three years, the device was tests against everything from extreme heat
and cold, to direct fire, dust, oil, and even water.
